HFT Shoot 2 May 2010
HFT Shoot for 2nd May 2010 has been cancelled.

Minutes of AGM 2010

The meeting started at 10:00.

Apologies were received from. Paul Ekins, David Wardle, David Penman, Robin Corkey and Chris Brunton.

The Chairman (Guy Sidey) Secretary (Duncan Rogers) and Treasurer (David Foster) were re-elected for another year. Following the retiral of Harry Burles Duncan agreed to act as our New Members Secretary co-opting any other full member as required. David Penman had previously agreed to remain Club Captain and this was unaminously approved. Rosalind Williamson agreed to act as Deputy Secretary and this was also unaminously approved.

The Clubs annual financial statement was tabled showing a modest increase in assets. It was agreed to keep the Club Subscription the same as last year.

The meeting agreed to maintain the status quo with regard to SARPA Membership - that is all members of the club will become members of SARPA and BFTA.

It was agreed not firm up on any expenditure until the relocation issues have been resolved with the Landlord. However, approval was obtained to purchase another grass cutter tractor for £500. The meeting also agreed to organise a re-painting of the containers the proposer (Harry Burles) agreed to come forward with a plan to involve all members having to paint an area of the containers with the option to pay another club member a sum of money if they found it physically impossible to carry out the work themselves. The paint and any materials would be funded from the club's reserves.

The meeting agreed to hold 4 FT Starred shoots and 4 HFT Starred shoots in 2010. The dates would be determined by David Penman and passed to SARPA for approval before the end of the month. Both FT and HFT organisers had already in place a fixed working group who would set out the courses. It was agreed that prior to our first shoot the whole club would commit to a "spring clean" of the woods and that each group would be responsible for "trimming" their shooting lanes prior to a shoot.

The meeting closed at 12:00 noon.
